Portraits

Carolyn Boch, a long term resident of Nepal, created these portraits over the last ten years.  People of Kathmandu whose striking character attracted her were asked to model. She says she paints from the inside out and considers each portrait a diary of herself as well as the subject she paints.

Carolyn has created and taught art most of her adult life.  She was the art teacher at Lincoln School (Kathmandu) for many years.  While living in Kathmandu, she taught creative mandala art workshops at the  Himalayan Buddhist Meditation Center, Thamel, Keshar Mahal. ** see articles on art exhibitions.
